Our Mother of Good Counsel School belongs to the Archdiocesan CYO league which fosters the Catholic community through youth sports. This organization follows the "Play Like a Champion Today" rules and regulations established by the Center for Ethical Education at the University of Notre Dame.

OMGC has an after school program for both girls and boys in grades 3rd through 8th.  B teams (grades 5 and 6) and C teams (grades 3 and 4) and Varsity teams (5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students) play three seasons of sports each year.

All of the coaches hold certificates from CYO and are required to have fingerprint clearance through the DOJ, have completed Safeguard the Children VIRTUS training through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, show proof of clearance from TB.
